International Students
Students who have not completed their secondary program in a school in North America
are designated as international students. Their admission credentials require special
scrutiny. In general, to be admitted, international students must have completed
the equivalent of twelve years of schooling, and be proficient in English.
English is the language of instruction and successful study depends heavily upon
fluency in the English language. This can be demonstrated by any one of the following
English proficiency tests with the stated score*
- TOEFL (paper-based) 550, with essay 4.0.
- TOEFL (computer-based) 213, with essay 4.0.
- IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with 6.0 (Written).
- CAEL 60 overall with essay 60.
- LPI (Language Proficiency Index) Level 4 with essay 24.
- ELA (English Language Assessment) 145.
- Internet based TOEFL 80 – 19 Reading / 18 Listening / 19 Writing / 18 Speaking
* Note: Create Career College Placement Assessment will be required if candidate
does not meet minimum English Proficiency requirements as above.
